This residence is located in a historic building in Chelsea. Originally constructed for manufacturing. The building was later taken over by artists and turned into lofts. These lofts were valued for their large, unobstructed spaces and natural light, but amenities such as bathrooms and kitchens were not prioritized and were often small and poorly designed. By reconfiguring and slightly enlarging the kitchen and bathrooms, we were able to make the apartment more modern and comfortable while preserving the atmosphere of the artist’s loft.
